Campaigns & Marketing Operations Lead
The Green Recruitment Company (Green Group) | London — Hybrid | £38,000–£45,000 + 15% bonus
The Green Recruitment Company is the premium provider of global recruitment solutions to the green energy and technology sector. Founded in 2010, we work across the energy transition with operations in London, Düsseldorf, Beijing, Orlando, New York, Cape Town, Singapore, Sydney and Amsterdam — with our head office in London supporting every region.
We're building out the group marketing function, and this is the role that turns strategy into activity in the market. You'll also support our sister brands: Green Executives, our executive search business, and Green Collar Jobs, our job board.
The role
This is a hands-on, commercially minded campaigns role reporting directly to the Group Chief Marketing Officer.
You'll own campaign execution across the group: integrated campaigns for priority sectors and geographies, account-based marketing for strategic clients, conference and event marketing, CRM and automation workflows, lead routing, and selective paid media where there's a genuine business case for it.
Deliberately, this is not a paid-media role with campaigns attached. Paid is one tool in the mix. What matters is building campaigns around defined audiences and commercial objectives, and being able to show what came out the other end.
What you'll actually be doing
- Translating commercial priorities into campaign plans — audience, channels, actions, budget, measures of success — and delivering them end to end
- Running structured pre-event, live-event and post-event marketing around our priority conferences, so events produce meetings and opportunities rather than just attendance
- Building account-based and outbound programmes for named target accounts, working shoulder to shoulder with consultants and sales leaders
- Owning the marketing tech workflows — audiences, nurture sequences, landing pages, lead capture, routing and follow-up in Loxo and connected platforms
- Triaging marketing-generated client enquiries quickly and making sure source, campaign and follow-up data is captured properly
- Managing selective PPC and paid social against defined audiences, budgets and outcomes — and recommending when to stop
- Supporting new-market, new-team and new-service launches with practical activation plans and repeatable playbooks
- Reporting on what worked, what didn't, and what should change next time

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Integrated campaign experience in B2B, professional services or recruitment — across several channels, not one specialism
- Practical, hands-on experience of email marketing, CRM, segmentation, automation, landing pages and events
- Working knowledge of PPC and paid social, with the judgement to use it selectively and assess return
- Strong organisation and project management — multiple stakeholders, deadlines and dependencies at once
- Confidence working with sales teams and senior stakeholders, including challenging a vague brief constructively
- Analytical instincts, and a healthy scepticism of vanity metrics
- Sound understanding of consent, suppression and responsible campaign practice
- A test-and-learn mindset and genuine interest in marketing technology, automation and AI-enabled ways of working
