Marketing Campaigns Manager – Defence, UK

Join an international defence software company trusted by more than 50 nations and NATO. And take ownership of the integrated campaigns that carry our brand to defence audiences worldwide. You will plan, run and measure campaigns that span communications, digital and events – turning strategic ambition into impactful activity.

The job:

  • Lead integrated campaigns across global defence markets

  • As our new Marketing Campaigns Manager in Defence, you will own the Marketing & Campaigns pillar, leading a small team of two colleagues while project managing integrated campaigns across our global markets and reporting to the Marketing & Communications Director based in the UK.

  • You will not just be keeping campaigns on track – you are the connective tissue that keeps messaging aligned and delivery accountable across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, the USA and Asia Pacific. This role suits someone who is equally comfortable building a campaign plan and writing a sharp brief, and who understands the particular demands of marketing vis-à-vis government and defence audiences.

In short, you can look forward to:

  • Managing a live portfolio of campaigns simultaneously, with clear timelines, task ownership and status visibility
  • Writing clear campaign briefs – objective, audience, message, channel mix and KPIs – and holding the team accountable to them
  • Coordinating cross-pillar delivery, aligning messaging and sequencing across communications, marketing and events
  • Working closely with our Digital Marketing Specialist on paid social and email activity, translating campaign goals into execution plans
  • Managing relationships with external suppliers, including PR agencies, content producers and media partners

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The team:

  • Join a collaborative and global team

  • You will become a key member of our Defence Marketing & Communications team, which works across three pillars:

    • Communications and content
    • Marketing and campaigns
    • Events and engagement
  • Your primary place of work will be our Farnborough office, where you will sit alongside half of the Defence MarCom team while leading a Digital Marketing Specialist and a Junior Consultant based in Aarhus, Denmark, and staying closely connected with colleagues across Denmark, Germany and the USA.

  • The role includes regular travel to key events and team sessions across Europe.

You bring:

  • Extensive campaign leadership experience across global, defence-grade marketing
  • You bring 10+ years of campaign management experience in a B2B or B2G environment. You have a proven track record of running integrated, multi-region campaigns across paid, email, social, events and PR, and you know how to balance global consistency with local relevance. • Experience at people management or mentoring team members, with a track record of building strong working relationships across locations and time zones.
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot or a similar marketing automation platform, plus a solid grasp of LinkedIn advertising, email marketing and thought leadership distribution.
  • Confident and credible with stakeholders at every level, including senior military and government contacts, understanding that in this sector, trust is earned slowly and lost quickly.
  • Comfortable working in an international team, where self-direction is essential and ambiguity is normal.
