We're looking for a Marketing Co-ordinator to join our team at Westmorland Farmshop & Co., a business that has been doing things differently on the motorway since 1972.

This is a role for someone who loves the craft of marketing (the planning, the storytelling, the detail) and who wants to do it somewhere with a genuine story to tell. You'll be part of a small, close-knit marketing team based at our Family Office in Penrith, working across digital channels, social media, on-site campaigns and creative content to bring the Westmorland brand to life.

We're a food and hospitality business rooted in place, people and proper craft. If that kind of work excites you, read on.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns across digital and on-site channels, managing timelines, assets and channel deployment from brief to delivery.
  • Own our social media channels — developing content schedules, publishing posts, managing engagement and keeping platforms active and on-brand.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Creative team to develop content, brief design work and contribute to copywriting across all channels.
  • Manage website content and support paid digital campaigns across platforms including Google, Meta and LinkedIn, using performance data to identify opportunities and share insights.
  • Champion strong brand and marketing standards across the business, collaborating with internal teams to ensure activity is consistently and effectively implemented across all locations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
