Marketing & Communications Co-ordinator
Inteleact are an award-winning electrical and mechanical engineering company with bases in Middlesbrough, Leicester and Grimsby, predominantly servicing process industries such as food and beverage manufacturing, utilities, heavy industry and renewables. We are looking for a proactive, creative and organised Marketing & Communications Co-ordinator to join our team and support the delivery of our marketing, communications, PR, events and stakeholder engagement activity.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, creating engaging content and working across different areas of marketing and communications. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining and strengthening the Intelect brand, both internally and externally. From managing our social media channels and creating content, to drafting press releases, coordinating events, managing community activity and producing marketing collateral, you will be involved across the full marketing and communications function.
Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand
- Take responsibility for ensuring brand continuity and consistency across the Intelect brand.
- Ensure all external and internal communications, marketing materials and digital content are aligned with brand guidelines.
- Coordinate the production of marketing collateral, including:
- Company brochures and booklets
- Flyers and promotional materials
- Banners and event materials
- Branded merchandise
- Presentations and corporate documents
- Work with external suppliers, printers, designers and other agencies where required.
- Maintain an organised library of brand assets, photography, video and marketing materials.

Social Media & Content
- Manage the company's social media accounts and day-to-day social media activity.
- Develop and create engaging, relevant and high-quality content for the company's social channels, which showcases our people, projects, achievements, company news, CSR activity, apprenticeships and wider business activity.
- Monitor and report on engagement and identify opportunities to improve the company's online presence.
- Use Canva and CapCut to edit professional marketing and social media content.
PR & Communications
- Draft engaging press releases and news stories to promote company activity, achievements, projects and people.
- Manage incoming media enquiries and opportunities, coordinating responses with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate and draft award applications and supporting submissions where appropriate.
- Draft and distribute staff newsletters, company-wide updates, announcements and internal memos.
- Coordinate photography and videography requirements across the business and create basic video content in-house using CapCut.
- Brief and coordinate external photographers/videographers where required.
Website
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of the company website.
- Ensure website content remains accurate, current and aligned with the Intelect brand.
- Work closely with the company's external website agency to identify and coordinate updates, improvements and new content.

Events & Stakeholder Engagement
- Plan, coordinate and support the delivery of company events.
- Represent Intelect at relevant industry, stakeholder, community and networking events.
- Support the business with client meetings, presentations, and business development opportunities.
- Coordinate charity partnerships, sponsorships, fundraising activity and community engagement, ensuring they align with business values.
- Capture and communicate community activity through appropriate internal and external channels.
General Administration & Support
- Complete any additional administrative tasks requested by Directors or Managers.
- Support with the answering of telephones, and direct calls where appropriate.
- Support with the management of email enquiries, and direct where appropriate.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum two years' experience working in a B2B marketing environment, ideally in the engineering sector.
- A L3 or degree in marketing or similar is essential.
- Experience managing social media accounts and creating social media content.
- Confident using platforms such as Canva, Wordpress and CapCut.
- Experience coordinating events, campaigns or marketing projects.
- Experience delivering internal and external communications.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with external suppliers, agencies or stakeholders.
- Full UK drivers’ licence.
The role will be based at our head offices in Middlesbrough, and will be on a full time basis. 40 hours per week (08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday)
