Mode Search is supporting a luxury fashion brand with the search for an experienced Marketing & Communications Director to provide strategic leadership across the full marketing and communications function. This senior position will shape and deliver an integrated global strategy spanning brand marketing, retail, wholesale, digital, CRM, PR, VIP relations, and creative, with a clear focus on strengthening brand desirability, supporting commercial growth, and building long-term brand equity.
Based in London, this is a full-time, permanent position with a hybrid working setup of four days in the office and one day working remotely. The role reports to the Creative Director and Commercial Director, with direct responsibility for the Marketing Manager and PR Manager.
The Role
- Define and lead the global Marketing & Communications strategy, ensuring brand, retail, wholesale, digital, CRM, PR, and creative activity is fully aligned with wider commercial objectives.
- Oversee integrated marketing and communications campaigns across seasonal launches, Fashion Week, international activations, partnerships, VIP initiatives, and customer engagement programs.
- Provide strategic direction across PR, media relations, celebrity dressing, creative production, and brand communications, ensuring a consistent and elevated brand presence across all markets and customer touchpoints.
- Own the annual departmental budget, forecasting, and KPI framework, using performance insights to optimize investment, improve effectiveness, and support future strategic planning.
- Lead and develop the Marketing, PR, and Creative functions, establishing strong planning, governance, and operational processes while driving collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the department.

Requirements
- Extensive senior leadership experience within luxury fashion, luxury lifestyle, or a premium consumer brand, with a strong track record of leading integrated Marketing, PR, and Creative teams.
- Proven experience developing and executing global brand and commercial marketing strategies across retail, wholesale, digital, CRM, and customer experience.
- Strong commercial and financial capability, including responsibility for significant marketing budgets, forecasting, departmental planning, and performance measurement.
- Demonstrable experience delivering major international campaigns, Fashion Week activity, brand activations, and product launches, alongside managing agencies, creative partners, and external suppliers.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with founders, Creative Directors, and executive teams, combined with the ability to develop high-performing teams and implement effective governance and operational processes.
