Role Purpose

The Marketing & Communications Executive delivers and implements marketing strategies across Prospect 13’s growing client base. This is a hands-on role for a switched-on marcomms all-rounder who can write, think, coordinate, and execute creatively and efficiently. You will support the Marketing Manager to turn strategy into action across multiple brands and sectors, combining traditional communications (PR, media, messaging, internal and external comms) with marketing delivery (digital, content creation, events, and campaigns). You will be immersed in all aspects of strategic marketing implementation and play a critical role as part of a busy marketing agency that is committed to driving results for our customers.

Role Characteristics

As part of a dynamic team full of personality and passion for all things marketing, the Marketing & Communications Executive will support the implementation of strategic marketing activities and excel under tight deadlines to meet changing client needs. The ability to develop and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients, suppliers, venues, and key stakeholders is required as well as a proactive and forward-thinking, creative approach. This role requires the highest of quality standards, organisation, ability to drive best practice and ensure close attention to detail.

About You

  • You have a demonstrable track record in writing, content creation, and marketing delivery arming yourself with 4-6 years' experience

What You Will Do

  • You will support delivery across multiple clients, and no two weeks look the same
  • Support the Marketing Manager to implement client marketing strategies and campaigns across multiple channels
  • Help plan and coordinate campaign activity including timelines, deliverables, approvals, and next steps
  • Contribute ideas and practical recommendations that improve quality, consistency, and marketing results
  • Write and edit high-quality content across formats, including press releases, media pitches, news updates, editorials, website copy, blogs, thought leadership, case studies, brochures, proposals, presentations, email content, and newsletters, social posts, and campaign messaging
  • Wider PR activities include identifying angles, building pitches, compiling media lists, issuing releases, monitoring coverage, and support reporting on earned media impact
  • Support relationship-building with media and external stakeholders where appropriate
  • Support messaging and positioning work by translating complex business updates into clear, compelling stories
  • Apply client brand guidelines and tone of voice consistently
  • Support delivery across digital channels (social, web, email) and collaborate with the digital team on SEO
  • Track campaign and content performance with reporting, insights, and recommendations to help improve output over time
  • Join client meetings where needed, capture actions, and keep delivery and momentum moving
  • Communicate proactively with the internal team to keep projects on track
  • Coordinate suppliers and partners (photography, video, print, events) as required
  • Maintain strong quality control with proofing, checking details, ensuring consistency
