Job Description

We're looking for a Marketing Communications Executive to join our Marketing team and help shape how financial advisers experience AJ Bell. You'll create clear, engaging campaigns that help advisers understand our proposition, connect with AJ Bell and ultimately help more people feel good about investing.

It's a varied, hands-on role where you'll work across email, social media, web, CRM, webinars and events, taking campaigns from idea through to delivery and using data and insight to continually improve their impact.

What does the job involve?

Working with colleagues across Marketing, Sales, Product, Investments and Technical, you'll:

  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that drive adviser awareness, engagement, leads and registrations.
  • Create targeted email campaigns, nurture programmes and automated customer journeys using HubSpot.
  • Develop audience segmentation and personalisation to make our communications more relevant and effective.
  • Create engaging social media content across LinkedIn, YouTube and X, working with internal experts and external contributors.
  • Develop and optimise adviser-facing webpages, landing pages and digital content.
  • Support the promotion of webinars, events and other adviser initiatives.
  • Use campaign, CRM, website and social data to understand what's working and identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Use A/B testing, behavioural insight and audience data to test ideas and optimise campaigns.
  • Produce reporting and performance insight, turning data into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Work closely with our Design and Distribution teams to maximise the reach and impact of campaigns.
  • Use AI-powered tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to support research, planning, content creation, reporting and optimisation.
  • Make sure marketing activity is accurate, high quality and delivered in line with AJ Bell's governance, regulatory and Consumer Duty requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who enjoys combining creativity with data and has experience delivering marketing activity across a range of channels.

You'll have:

  • Experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • A good understanding of campaign management, audience segmentation, lead generation and performance measurement.
  • Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms, ideally HubSpot.
  • Experience working with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube and X.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging content for different audiences.
  • An analytical mindset and the ability to turn campaign data into practical recommendations.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • The confidence to build relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.
  • An interest in using technology and AI to find smarter and more effective ways of working.
  • Experience with HTML and content management systems such as Drupal would be useful, but isn't essential.

If you're a marketer who enjoys creating great campaigns, experimenting with new ideas and using insight to make them better, we'd love to hear from you.
