Marketing Communications Executive

Are you a creative marketer with a flair for producing engaging content across digital and traditional marketing channels? Do you enjoy working on a variety of marketing projects? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

Williams Refrigeration is one of the UK's leading commercial refrigeration manufacturers, supplying award-winning products to customers across the foodservice and hospitality sectors. We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Communications Executive to join our UK Marketing team.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in delivering both online and offline marketing activities, supporting UK and international sales teams, and helping to create high-quality marketing communications that strengthen the Williams brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content for the company website, social media channels, electronic direct mail, and other marketing communications such as sales/corporate brochures and advertisements
  • Manage social media - plan, schedule, and publish posts using Hootsuite or similar. Create ideas/content for campaigns
  • Monitor social media engagement and provide monthly performance reports
  • Management of SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) activities, monitor, and report on website performance
  • Assist with website maintenance and content updates using a CMS
  • Key member of the website development team. Assist the Marketing Manager in the implementation of a new corporate website
  • Work with external agencies, designers, and suppliers to deliver marketing campaigns and material
  • Proofread and edit articles for trade press and PR activity
  • Attend photographic and video shoots as well as customer site visits
  • Support the organisation of trade exhibitions and events, including stand build and breakdown
  • Work with departments across the business to ensure information used in marketing communications is accurate
  • Provide general support to the Marketing Manager

You will ideally have:

  • A Marketing degree or Business Studies diploma with a marketing bias
  • Excellent copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Experience in creating engaging content for social media
  • Experience of social media management, analytics, and reporting
  • The ability to use Creative Suite software to a moderate level - In-Design; Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Very good Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong time management skills - the ability to multi-task, stick to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with people at all levels
  • Experience of implementing SEO/GEO and an understanding of Google Analytics
  • A keen eye for detail
  • A full UK driving licence
