Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented marketing communications professional with a passion for creating engaging content to join our busy and high-performing Marketing team.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders and subject matter experts across the firm to develop impactful content that supports marketing, corporate communications, and business development initiatives. Producing high-quality content across a variety of formats and channels, you will ensure consistency with Flint Bishop’s brand and strategic objectives.

In a marketing landscape increasingly shaped by AI tools, we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys the craft of writing. While we embrace the benefits of technology to support research, efficiency and insight, this role is for someone who brings creativity and personality to their work. You will help bring the Flint Bishop story to life through clear, engaging and distinctive content.

This is an exciting time to join Flint Bishop as the firm continues to grow and expand into new national markets. The role plays a key part in delivering internal and external communications that support the firm’s strategic growth and business development goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, write, and edit high-quality content for Flint Bishop, including marketing materials, client proposals, thought leadership pieces, website copy, and social media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing, Senior Marketing Manager, legal teams, and subject matter experts to produce accurate, engaging, and commercially focused content for proposals, tenders, and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR and senior leadership to create communications that support the firm’s Employee Value Proposition, including initiatives relating to recruitment, culture, wellbeing, and professional development.
  • Support the development and execution of Flint Bishop’s content strategy, ensuring all materials align with the firm’s brand, tone of voice, and strategic business objectives.
  • Support the delivery of internal communications and employee engagement initiatives across the firm.
  • Monitor and interpret web analytics and engagement metrics to optimise content performance and inform marketing activities.
  • Ensure all digital and written content is SEO-optimised, readable, and designed to maximise audience engagement.
  • Maintain a consistent tone, style, and messaging across all communications, reviewing and refining existing content to enhance clarity and impact.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to Flint Bishop’s brand guidelines.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Have previous experience producing marketing content within the legal sector.
  • Be a passionate advocate for high-quality content, with excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to produce writing that informs, engages and differentiates the firm in the market.
  • Demonstrable experience in a marketing communications, content, or similar role.
  • Hold a degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Law, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrate the ability to write effectively across a variety of formats, audiences and communication channels.
  • Possess strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to gather complex information and translate it into clear, compelling content.
  • Have a good understanding of SEO best practices and digital content trends.
  • Demonstrate excellent research, writing, editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Be highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
