Communications & Marketing Intern

Our client is seeking a proactive and creative Communications & Marketing Intern to support the London Communications team. This is a varied role that combines internal communications, digital marketing, brand promotion and content management. Working closely with the Senior Communications Manager, you'll help deliver engaging communications that enhance employee engagement, strengthen the firm's brand and ensure consistent messaging across the business. You'll also provide communications support for client events and European conferences as required.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Communications

  • Manage and grow the firm's internal social platform (Viva Engage), creating engaging content and encouraging employee participation.
  • Draft articles, announcements and content for internal newsletters and company publications.
  • Maintain and update the London intranet, ensuring content remains accurate, engaging and up to date.
  • Support Employee Resource Networks (ERNs) by coordinating newsletters and assisting with internal communications initiatives.

Marketing & External Communications

  • Maintain and update the London platform's content on the corporate website.
  • Assist in creating and coordinating marketing and communications materials across digital, print and video channels.
  • Contribute to corporate publications, marketing campaigns and promotional content.
  • Work closely with communications teams across Europe to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Help strengthen the firm's brand by producing high-quality communications that support business objectives.
  • Coordinate documentation and publishing across multiple communication channels.
  • Support the coordination of client events across the London platform and provide communications support at European conferences and other corporate events as required.

Communications Operations

  • Onboard suppliers and manage the Know Your Supplier (KYS) process.
  • Process communications and marketing-related invoices through Harmoni.
  • Provide administrative support to the Communications team, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Candidate Profile

We're looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented communications professional who enjoys creating engaging content and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in communications, marketing, corporate communications or a similar role.
  • Excellent written, verbal and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience managing digital content, intranets, websites or internal communication platforms.
  • Knowledge of branding, corporate communications or digital marketing principles is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a willingness to take initiative.
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
