Marketing & Communications Lead
Role Overview
Harbor Labs is seeking a strategic Marketing & Communications Lead to own our external brand, thought leadership, and communications programmes. You will work closely with Partners, practice leaders, and our digital team to ensure Harbor Labs expertise and perspective is consistently visible, credible, and differentiated across key markets.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy aligned to firm growth priorities.
- Own content strategy and editorial calendar across website, thought leadership reports, social media, and media outreach.
- Write and edit high-quality content — articles, executive perspectives, case study summaries, and award submissions.
- Lead media relations and own relationships with relevant trade, business, and financial press.
- Manage event marketing, including conference sponsorships, webinars, and client events.
- Collaborate with the digital team to optimise SEO, campaign performance, and lead generation.
- Track marketing effectiveness through clear KPIs and report regularly to firm leadership.

What You'll Bring
- 5+ years in marketing, communications, or content strategy in a professional services, consulting, or B2B environment.
- Exceptional writing ability — you can simplify complex ideas without losing nuance.
- Proven experience in earned media and thought leadership campaign delivery.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.

Nice to Have
- Experience in management consulting or financial services marketing.
