Editorial & Content Manager

Up to £55,000 pro rata
8-9 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Cambridge Area | 3 days onsite
Immediate Start

Can you transform complex clinical data into deeply empathetic, patient-centric human stories? A rapidly growing, independent global pharmaceutical company based in Cambridge, dedicated to improving the lives of patients and caregivers facing rare genetic and metabolic conditions, is looking for a Content & Communications Manager for an 8-9 month maternity contract. You will be someone who loves the craft of writing just as much as leading a team. You will take full ownership of our brand voice, shape global content strategies, and directly line-manage talented in-house writers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation, editing, and delivery of high-quality content across digital, print, corporate communications, PR, social media, email marketing, and campaign materials.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications plans that support commercial objectives and enhance audience engagement.
  • Manage, coach, and develop two direct reports, providing day-to-day leadership and support.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to create compelling, compliant messaging for a variety of audiences, including supporting product launches and awareness campaigns.
  • Ensure all communications and promotional materials meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements expected within a highly regulated industry.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
