Marketing & Communications Manager

At Silverstream Technologies, we’re changing how the world’s ships use energy, helping global shipping use less fuel and reduce emissions through proven technology. Our Silverstream® System is already installed on more than 160 vessels worldwide, delivering proven, measurable savings for customers.

Our next chapter is about scaling that impact, and marketing has an important part to play.

We’re looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager who knows the maritime industry and can turn technical expertise, customer insight and performance evidence into compelling campaigns, content and customer stories.

Why join Silverstream?

  • You’ll help shape how an established maritime technology business reaches new customers and strengthens relationships with existing ones.
  • There are results to communicate, customer stories to develop and international markets to engage.
  • Recognised among Europe’s fastest-growing companies by the Financial Times and Britain’s fastest-growing private companies by The Sunday Times, our ambition is to make air lubrication standard on newbuild vessels and bring its benefits to the existing global fleet.

What you’ll do

  • Develop marketing that resonates across different maritime markets and cultures, working with regional colleagues and partners to reflect local customer priorities, buying practices and communication needs.
  • Shape clear, distinctive messaging that connects our technology with customer needs.
  • Plan and deliver focused campaigns for priority accounts and maritime audiences across content, digital channels, PR and events.
  • Turn validated performance evidence into compelling customer stories, case studies and sales materials.
  • Support technology developments and new applications with effective positioning and launch activity.
  • Help deliver exhibitions, conferences and customer events with clear commercial objectives.
  • Manage agencies, projects and budgets, using practical measures to understand results and improve activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
