👋 About Us
Sunday is building the fastest, simplest way to pay in restaurants. With a quick scan of a QR code, diners can pay, tip, and leave in about 10 seconds. We believe great products should feel obvious, not complicated, and we focus relentlessly on keeping things simple while earning trust from restaurants and guests at every interaction. Today, Sunday powers payments in thousands of restaurants across the US, UK, and France, helping operators turn tables faster, increase tips, and unlock valuable insights. We push ourselves to go beyond what’s expected, building with ownership, moving fast, and scaling with ambition as we tackle our biggest growth opportunity in the US.
About the Role
We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to own Sunday’s marketing presence in the UK.
As the key point of contact for marketing in the UK, you will be responsible for making sure that Sunday’s global positioning, campaigns, and product stories are relevant, compelling, and effective for the local restaurant market.
This is a broad, highly visible, and hands-on role. You will develop and execute the UK marketing and communications plan, working closely with Sales, Product, and Growth to increase brand awareness, support commercial performance, and accelerate the adoption of Sunday’s products across the restaurant sector.
You will own local marketing initiatives including events, trade shows, referral programs, press relations, brand campaigns, local social media, sales enablement, and local product launches.
You will not own digital acquisition or the global Growth plan. Instead, you will work closely with the Growth team to adapt global campaigns and priorities for the UK market, ensuring that local insights, customer needs, and market dynamics are reflected in execution.
Join early, grow fast, and shape the journey!

- Manage end-to-end event execution, including objectives, messaging, stand presence, collateral, logistics, speakers, follow-up, and performance measurement.
- Work with Sales to turn events into meaningful commercial opportunities.
- Explore opportunities for Sunday leaders, customers, and partners to participate in panels, talks, and industry discussions.
- Develop and manage the UK referral marketing program.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
