Marketing & Communications Officer – Chelsea Foundation
LOCATION: Stamford Bridge / Cobham when required
CONTRACT: Permanent (35 hours - evening and weekend work when required. For example, evening community sessions or matchday support. On average 1x evening/weekend activity per month with TOIL)

The Opportunity
Chelsea FC Foundation is seeking a creative and driven Marketing & Communications Officer to help tell the story of our work and impact across local communities. Working closely with the Head of Media, you will deliver engaging marketing and communications campaigns, manage key digital channels, and create compelling content that showcases the Foundation’s programmes, people and purpose. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional who is passionate about football, community impact and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Foundation website, email newsletters and other communications channels.
- Develop and deliver marketing and communications plans that increase awareness and engagement.
- Create and coordinate high-quality content and marketing assets across multiple platforms.
- Ensure all communications and creative materials align with brand guidelines.
- Maintain the Foundation’s library of marketing assets, imagery and templates.
- Monitor campaign performance and use data and insights to improve results.
- Support departments across the Foundation with impact-led communications activity.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide communications support at events and meetings.

What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years' experience in a marketing and communications role, ideally within sport, charity or a community-focused organisation.
- Experience managing websites, CMS platforms, email marketing systems and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Strong content creation and design skills with an eye for detail and brand consistency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A creative storyteller with a passion for football and the positive impact sport can have in communities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work with a range of internal and external partners.
- High levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
