Help set up, mentor and lead a small team of volunteers to shape how the world sees WIILMA an architect of our public voice, ensuring our mission—reducing isolation through World music, arts, and advocacy and increasing cohesion —reaches the people who need it most.

What difference will you make?

You will be at the heart of a team fighting social isolation. Your work will directly help marginalised voices be heard and ensure that culture and arts remain accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or ability.

What are we looking for?

Strategic Branding

Developing and overseeing the visual and verbal identity of the organisation, ensuring our messages such as "Community Cohesion" & “Tackling isolation” is consistent across all platforms.

Campaign Management

Lead the marketing and advertising efforts for our Community projects, events and advocacy and awareness campaigns.

Advocacy Growth

Develop communication strategies for our community infrastructure, disability and accessibility advocacy projects to drive awareness and policy change.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

A proven background and experience in marketing, PR, or brand management (professional or high-level volunteer experience).

Cultural Competency

A genuine passion for our mission and motivation for improving the lives of those suffering from loneliness and isolation, as well as those facing various challenges such as seen and unseen disabilities.

Advocacy-Minded

An interest in developing an understanding of barriers to good health and well-being and social determinants of health, accessibility needs and the barriers faced by people with seen and unseen disabilities with regards to accessing Arts and culture and the current crisis we have regarding a lack of accessible venues across London.

Self-Starter

As a grassroots Community project, we need someone who can both "think big" lead and help achieve things for us supported by colleagues.
