Marketing Consultant — Transformation Lead

Location: Solihull, UK (Hybrid)
Duration: 8–12 Weeks (Part-Time, Contract – Potential to Convert Full-Time)
Start Date: ASAP
Day Rate: Competitive (DOE)

Role Overview

Cotality is seeking a Marketing Consultant (Transformation Lead) to diagnose, redesign, and elevate its marketing function into a best-in-class, revenue-driven engine. This role will focus on evaluating current marketing operations and building a scalable target operating model aligned with pipeline growth and sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Phase 1: Diagnostic

  • Assess current marketing structure, processes, tools, and performance
  • Evaluate MarTech stack (CRM, automation, CMS, campaign tools)
  • Analyze channel effectiveness and segment performance
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews across Sales, Product, and Leadership
  • Review messaging, positioning, and content strategy
  • Identify gaps in culture, collaboration, and Sales alignment

Phase 2: Transformation / Design

  • Design a target operating model for marketing
  • Define team structure, roles, and capabilities
  • Build a pipeline-focused measurement framework
  • Develop segment-led and account-based marketing (ABM) strategy
  • Recommend tools, budget planning, and campaign frameworks
  • Create content, events, and demand generation roadmap
  • Provide hiring/upskilling plan for future team
  • Ensure smooth transition and knowledge transfer

Required Skills & Experience (Must Have)

  • Proven experience in marketing transformation / operating model design
  • Strong background in Property / PropTech / B2B data & analytics domain
  • Hands-on expertise in marketing operations & MarTech stack
  • Experience building pipeline & revenue-based reporting frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) and segmentation
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to assess both process and team culture
