A little bit about us 💜

Innovista Marketing is a growing Hampshire-based marketing agency working with ambitious businesses across a whole range of industries from children's nurseries to home design.

We're a small team, and we like it that way. It means we get to know our clients properly, become a genuine extension of their businesses and create marketing strategies that are actually tailored to what they need.

Transparency and honesty sit at the heart of Innovista. We don't believe in overcomplicating marketing, hiding behind jargon or making something sound like black magic when it isn't. We explain what we're doing, why we're doing it and what our clients are actually paying for.
And we work the same way internally.

We're honest with each other, we share ideas, we ask for help when we need it and, if something goes wrong, we talk about it and fix it. No hiding, no blame culture and definitely no corporate politics.
As our client base has grown, we're now looking for a brilliant Marketing & Content Executive to join us.

The Opportunity

This is initially a 12-month maternity cover position, joining our small team and working closely with our Directors / Account Manager’s, Izzy, and Alexa.

Izzy and Alexa will continue to lead our client relationships, strategy and account management. Your role is all about helping us bring those strategies to life.

You'll be the person turning plans into content calendars, ideas into graphics, strategies into blogs and marketing activity into reports we can actually learn something from. In short, you'll help keep the marketing machine moving.

Alexa will begin maternity leave in January 2027 and return in October, so for much of the contract you'll work particularly closely with Izzy.

While we're advertising this as a fixed-term maternity cover role, Innovista is growing. For the right person, and depending on the needs of the business at the end of the contract, there could be an opportunity to stay and grow with us permanently.

What you'll be doing

Social media & content

You'll support the day-to-day delivery of our clients' social media, including:

  • Creating monthly content calendars and plans
  • Designing on-brand paid social graphics in Canva
  • Writing engaging content in different brand tones of voice
  • Creating and editing Reels and short-form video
  • Sourcing imagery and creative assets
  • Scheduling content and supporting community management
  • Bringing your own content and campaign ideas to the table

Our clients are all different, so you'll need to be comfortable switching between brands and platforms.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Reporting & analysis

You'll help us demonstrate what's working, what's not and where the opportunities are by:

  • Pulling monthly performance data from social platforms, Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Compiling client reports with clear commentary and insights
  • Spotting trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Preparing reports for Izzy and Alexa to review before they go to clients

We're looking for someone who's curious about the numbers, not just someone who can copy them into a report. We want you to ask us why something worked and what we can learn from it.

Blogs & website content

We'll provide the SEO research, keywords and content framework, and you'll turn these into engaging, well-written blogs that actually sound like the client.
You'll also support website content updates through WordPress, with the opportunity to get more involved in SEO if that's an area you'd like to develop.

Graphic design

You don't need to be a fully-fledged graphic designer, but a good eye for design is essential.
You'll predominantly use Canva to create content within our clients' existing brand guidelines, with opportunities to contribute creatively to campaigns and brand development too.

What we're looking for

We're much more interested in what you can do than the qualifications written on your CV.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • At least 2 years' hands-on experience in a marketing role
  • Strong copywriting skills and an excellent grasp of written English
  • Experience creating social media content for businesses
  • Confident graphic design skills using Canva
  • Experience creating and editing short-form video/Reels using video editing tools such as CapCut
  • Experience using Meta Business Suite
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics/GA4 and Google Search Console
  • Experience using CMS platforms such as WordPress, email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp and CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce
  • An understanding of SEO and tools such as Semrush
  • The ability to manage multiple brands, deadlines and pieces of content at once

Agency experience would be useful because you'll be switching between different clients and industries, but it's certainly not essential.

It would be lovely if you also knew a bit about...
These aren't deal-breakers, so please don't talk yourself out of applying if you don't tick every box.

  • Experience or understanding of any of the following would be a bonus:
    • Keyword research and SEO
    • Email marketing
    • Meta Ads Manager
    • Google Ads/PPC

We're not looking for a paid media specialist. We'd simply love someone who understands that paid content has a job to do and can think about creatives accordingly.

The kind of person who'll thrive here

We're looking for a grafter.

Someone who takes pride in getting things done, uses their initiative and doesn't need to be given a step-by-step instruction for everything.

You'll probably enjoy this role if you're someone who spots something that could be better and constantly says, "I've got an idea..."

We want you to challenge us. Bring ideas. Ask questions. Tell us when something isn't working. And if you think there's a better way of doing something, we genuinely want to hear it.

Most importantly, we value honesty and transparency.

Made a mistake? Tell us.
Don't understand something? Ask.
Have too much on your plate? Say so.
Think one of our ideas is rubbish? We'd rather you explain why than quietly go along with it.
We don't expect perfection. We do expect communication, accountability and a willingness to learn.

How we work

We're predominantly remote, but we're deliberately advertising this as a Hampshire-based hybrid role because spending time together matters to us.

We usually get together around once a week, currently around Winchester and, going forward, Southbourne. This isn't a formal day sitting silently beside each other in an office. It's an opportunity to work together, bounce ideas around and actually enjoy being a team.

There may occasionally be client meetings or content days to attend, but these are very infrequent.
Outside of that, you'll predominantly work from home.

Most importantly we're not clock-watchers. If the work is getting done, deadlines are being met and our clients are being looked after, we trust you to manage your time.

Need to book an appointment on a Tuesday afternoon? Go for it. Have something you need to sort out in the morning and want to start later? Just communicate with us.

We care far more about great work, trust and accountability than whether you’re online at 5:17pm.

What you'll recieve

  • £27,000–£30,000 salary, depending on experience
  • Full-time, 37.5-hour working week
  • Predominantly remote working
  • Weekly in-person team meet-ups in Hampshire either Winchester, Andover or Bournemouth
  • 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays) + Christmas closure of one week
  • Company pension
  • A genuinely flexible working culture
  • The opportunity to work across lots of different businesses and industries
  • Plenty of opportunity to contribute ideas and influence how we do things
  • Potential for a permanent position as Innovista continues to grow

If you're creative, organised, curious, honest and the kind of person who gets genuine satisfaction from turning a great idea into something real, we'd love to hear from you. 💜
