About JSE Digital

JSE Digital is a UK-registered digital startup providing creative, digital and technology services to businesses. As a growing company, we value the exchange of ideas, skills and professional perspectives. This internship has been created as a mutual professional-development opportunity, allowing the participant to gain practical exposure to marketing, content creation and digital analysis while giving JSE Digital the opportunity to learn from the participant's ideas, observations and existing professional experience.

Purpose of the Programme

The Marketing and Content Creation Internship is designed primarily as a professional experience and development programme rather than an employed job position.

The programme is intended to provide the participant with practical exposure to areas including:

  • Digital marketing strategy
  • Social media analysis
  • Content creation
  • Content planning
  • Marketing analytics
  • KPI development
  • Competitor and market research
  • Audience analysis
  • Brand positioning
  • Instagram marketing
  • LinkedIn marketing
  • Startup marketing and decision-making

The participant will be encouraged to bring their own ideas, challenge existing approaches and develop their understanding through practical, real-world examples.

The experience is intended to be mutually beneficial: the participant can develop demonstrable professional experience while JSE Digital can benefit from hearing an independent perspective on its current marketing and digital presence.

Nature of the Internship

This programme is offered as an unpaid professional experience opportunity.

It is not intended to operate as a contracted employee or worker position.

Accordingly, the programme is designed without:

  • Fixed daily or weekly working hours
  • Set shifts
  • Required attendance at specific working times
  • A minimum number of hours that must be completed each week
  • Regular employee duties
  • A fixed workload
  • Business-critical responsibilities
  • Individual sales or commercial targets
  • A requirement to produce a particular number of posts or pieces of content
  • Exclusivity
  • A promise or guarantee of employment following completion

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Completion of the Programme

The programme is expected to run for approximately 3 months from the mutually confirmed start date.

On successful completion, JSE Digital intends to provide:

  • Certificate of Completion

Employment and Programme Status

This opportunity is offered as an unpaid professional experience programme and is not intended to operate as a paid employment position.

The programme is designed around flexible participation, professional development and mutually agreed learning activities. There are no contracted working hours, fixed shifts, mandatory weekly workload or guaranteed future employment.

The participant's legal employment status will always depend on the actual nature of the arrangement and any applicable law, rather than the title of the internship alone. If the nature of the programme changes in a way that may affect this status, JSE Digital will review the arrangement accordingly.

As this is an international remote opportunity, any relevant internship or employment requirements within the participant's country of residence should also be considered before the programme begins.
