Company Description
Archie's London runs screen-free outdoor holiday camps for children in Battersea Park and Chiswick, alongside birthday parties, corporate activity days, and hosted family ski weeks in Courmayeur and Zürs am Arlberg.
Everything we do comes back to one idea: get people off screens and into the outdoors. Our camps aren't sports drills on a pitch. They're den building, woodland games, mud, and children coming home tired and full of stories. We're small, founder-led and growing fast, with around 2,000 families on our list and camps that sell out most days in peak summer.
Role Description
We're looking for a Marketing & Content Lead to own our marketing and content outright. Not to execute someone else's plan, but to decide the direction and run it.
Two days a week through the winter, with genuine scope to grow into full time across the summer season. Freelance, and flexible on how those days are shaped.
What you'd own
- Instagram, our strongest channel by a distance. Strategy, posting, growth and community.
- Content creation. Filming and editing reels at camps, on ski weeks and at events.
- Paid advertising. Setting up, running and optimising campaigns across Meta and anything else worth testing.
- Email marketing to our family database.
- Campaign planning around each booking window.
- PR outreach to family, travel and lifestyle press.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Nice to have: Meta Ads experience, email marketing, PR outreach, photography, Adobe, and if you ski, that helps for the Alps trips.
Experience matters less to us than taste and energy.
Practical
- Freelance, £130 to £230 per day depending on experience, invoiced monthly.
- Work from home, ideally London based so we can meet up and you can get to camps occasionally.
- Enhanced DBS required, which we can arrange.
The good bits
We're a small, fun brand with lots of room for you to take things in your own direction. You'll be out at camps with the kids rather than stuck at a desk, and there's a decent chance you'll get out to the Alps with a camera.
