The Role

Loch Leven’s Larder is an independent, family-run business with food, retail, hospitality, and events at its heart.

As we continue to grow and develop, we are looking for an experienced and creative Marketing & Content Manager to lead our marketing, content, and visual communications.

This is a hands-on role covering social media, content creation, creative design, digital marketing, campaigns, website, email, and customer-facing and internal communications.

You will work closely with Emma Niven, Creative Director and Owner, and the wider management and operational team across hospitality, food, retail, and events.

The role combines creative thinking with practical delivery. We are looking for someone who can develop an idea, create the content, design the artwork, and deliver the campaign across the appropriate channels.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Social Media & Content

  • Manage and develop our social media channels and content strategy.
  • Plan and maintain an effective content calendar.
  • Create photography, reels, video, and short-form content.
  • Capture the people, food, products, gardens, events, and experiences that make the Larder unique.
  • Develop engaging stories around our Scottish producers, suppliers, and products.
  • Create seasonal and event-led content.
  • Grow audience reach and engagement.
  • Stay current with social media trends and emerging content formats.

Creative Design

  • Develop creative concepts and visual campaigns from initial idea through to finished artwork.
  • Design digital and printed marketing materials, including posters, flyers, menus, invitations, event collateral, and promotional material.
  • Create artwork for retail, hospitality, events, and seasonal experiences.
  • Maintain and develop a consistent visual identity across the business.
  • Have a strong eye for imagery, typography, layout, and detail.

Canva & Adobe

  • Be highly confident using Canva.
  • Have strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • InDesign experience would be an advantage.
  • Produce professional artwork for both digital and print.
  • Develop templates and creative assets for use across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
