Content Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join Team OB in our Support Office.

This is a rare chance to shape content for Oliver Bonas.

As Content Marketing Manager, you'll set the editorial direction and content strategy across all our owned channels, leading a small team to bring it to life. You'll decide what content we make, always connecting it back to what our customers want and need.

We're after a content marketer who's done this before – ideally in retail – someone who is equal parts strategist and maker. You'll be a source of endless creative ideas and hands-on enough to bring those ideas to life. You’ll have a strong cultural antennae, sharp editorial judgement and a clear understanding of what makes our brand so unique.

In short, we’re after a content superstar. Sound like you? Let's talk.

Our Support Office

Our Support Office is based in Tolworth, near Chessington, only a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo. We offer hybrid working with a split of 3 days in the office and 2 days home working per week, and are open to having conversations about working flexibly.

A bit about us …

At Oliver Bonas (OB), our values of Work Hard, Play Hard & Be Kind are integral to everything we do. Collaboration, imagination, curiosity, and teamwork are key to our success, and everyone has their part to play in making OB a special place to work.

Having fun is key, and a playful and positive approach creates an optimistic environment. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we are serious about what we do.

Our team knows their stuff. They’re confident and creative and unafraid to challenge convention to find solutions, taking accountability for their actions, but always with kindness and humility.

More about the role …

  • Own and develop the content strategy across the site, social, email and YouTube ensuring activity supports business priorities, brand content pillars and customer needs.
  • Lead the editorial planning process, building clear content plans and calendars that connect campaigns, product moments, seasonal business priorities and always-on storytelling.
  • Translate brand, campaign and trading priorities into clear content briefs, narratives and formats.
  • Work with channel owners to define the role, objective and customer purpose of content across each channel.
  • Identify opportunities for new content formats, recurring series and storytelling that strengthen brand engagement.
  • Use performance data and stakeholder feedback to improve future content planning and effectiveness.
  • Set the editorial direction for key campaigns, product stories and always-on content.
  • Own and champion the Oliver Bonas tone of voice, ensuring copy is consistent, distinctive and customer focused.
  • Create and maintain content governance, copy guidance and messaging frameworks to support consistent output across teams.
  • Partner with brand, creative, social, PR, ecommerce and trade teams to bring product and campaign stories to life.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
