About Studio Ellis
Studio Ellis is an independent British fashion house with more than 110 years of heritage, now moving into its fourth generation.
We design and develop collections across four distinctive brands: Ellis Bridals, KR by Studio Ellis, John Charles and Maisonel. Our business is predominantly wholesale, working closely with specialist retailers in the UK and internationally, while building strong consumer awareness and demand for each brand.
We are a creative, ambitious and fast-moving business with design, quality and commercial relevance at its heart.
The role
We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded Marketing, Content & Social Manager to take ownership of both B2B and B2C marketing activity across an allocated portfolio of Studio Ellis brands.
Brand responsibilities may evolve as the business develops, so the successful candidate must be confident adapting across different audiences, products and brand identities.
This is a hands-on role combining creative content, digital marketing, retailer communications, campaign implementation and performance reporting. You will translate agreed strategy into clear plans and completed campaigns, ensuring activity is delivered consistently, on time and with a measurable commercial purpose.
The position requires someone who can balance creative instinct with strong organisation, commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
Integrated marketing
- Create and implement B2B and B2C marketing plans for your allocated brands.
- Translate strategic direction into detailed campaigns, briefs, calendars and deliverables.
- Maintain clear weekly, monthly and seasonal marketing calendars.
- Coordinate activity across product launches, selling seasons, trade shows, events and key commercial dates.
- Ensure each brand maintains a distinctive, consistent and relevant identity.
- Work closely with the Founder and Creative Director, sales team and wider business.
B2B and wholesale marketing
- Create retailer email campaigns, launch communications, sales materials and trade-marketing content.
- Support retailer acquisition, engagement and retention.
- Develop campaigns that help stockists understand, promote and sell the collections.
- Coordinate marketing activity around trade shows, showroom presentations and international launches.
- Work with sales managers and agents to identify commercial priorities and opportunities.
- Ensure qualified retailer enquiries and marketing responses are followed through and reported.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
