Content & Marketing Lead - Part-Time

Two days a week · flexible on employed or freelance · remote with occasional in-person

· £40,000 pro rata (full-time equivalent)

Help us tell the world about something that genuinely changes how women lead…

The Female Advisory Board (FAB) brings senior leaders in business together in confidential peer advisory boards: a space where they get the challenge, perspective and support that leaders so rarely have. It works, and the women in it love it. What we haven't yet done is tell the world about it. That's where you come in.

The role

We're looking for a hands-on, creative marketer to give FAB a consistent, credible voice and to build the kind of genuinely valuable, education-led content that our audience of senior leaders actually wants to receive. This is a making-it-happen role, not a strategy-from-the-sidelines one. You'll have ideas and you'll bring them to life, and you'll use AI expertly to do the work of a much bigger team.

What you'll do

  • A consistent presence: Build a consistent marketing presence across our company LinkedIn page, the founder's personal page, our website and email - so FAB is always visible, in a voice that feels right.
  • Value-led content: Create genuinely useful, education-led content: think ebooks, scorecards, surveys, interactive pieces and video that teaches our audience about peer advisory and leadership, rather than simply promoting us.
  • Ideate, build, measure: Own the full loop: come up with the ideas (working closely with the founder & COO), then personally build the content: actually making the scorecards, surveys, ebooks and interactive pieces in the relevant software yourself, measuring how it performs, so you keep making the next thing better.
  • Video & storytelling: Help produce the content only we can give you: founder videos, a “day in the life of a CEO” series, member interviews and premises features, short explainers on what peer advisory is and turn each one into many pieces across our channels. You'll be comfortable filming and editing video content yourself, using AI-powered tools to do it efficiently. You don't need to be a professional videographer, we can bring one in for the bigger productions, but you should be able to shoot and edit good content confidently.
  • Keep it moving: Build the plan and the timeline, keep it moving, and hold us (including the founder) to delivering our part, so content actually ships.
  • AI-native, genuinely: This is central to the role, not a nice-to-have. You already work AI-first: you reach for it instinctively to draft, produce, repurpose, edit and analyse, so a huge amount gets done fast and the time you save goes into ideas, judgement and impact. We'll ask you to show us how you actually use it.
  • Protect the brand: Build visibility while fiercely protecting the confidentiality of our boards and the premium, discreet nature of the brand, showing the value without ever exposing the room.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who you are

  • A brilliant doer: Genuinely good at the craft of marketing; creating content across formats (written, video, interactive) and measuring what works. This is the heart of the role.
  • Handy with video: Comfortable shooting and editing video, and editing content well generally using AI-powered software to cut the time it takes, so more of your two days goes into ideas and impact rather than manual production. Not a professional videographer (we can bring one in for big shoots), but confident and capable with everyday video.
  • Value-led, not “traditional”: You think about what would be valuable to the person receiving it, not just what we want to say. You get that modern marketing earns attention rather than demanding it.
  • Hands-on: You'll roll your sleeves up and make things. We don't need someone who only wants to direct strategy, we need someone who loves the doing.
  • Ready to grow: You don't need to be fully senior. If you're genuinely good, eager, and want a role you can grow into as FAB grows, we'll back you and guide you.
  • A bonus: Comfortable helping keep our CRM clean and organised. Nice to have, not essential.

The honest bit - is this environment right for you?

Please read this carefully, because it matters more than anything above.

FAB is an early-stage, scaling business: not a large, established company with settled processes and a clear playbook. That means:

  • Things change frequently. Priorities shift, plans evolve, and you'll need to adapt quickly and stay calm when they do.
  • You'll wear many hats and won't always have a defined lane or a template to follow. Sometimes you'll be building the thing that doesn't exist yet.
  • It's fast, it's varied, and it's real, your work will matter immediately and you'll see its impact.

This genuinely suits some people and genuinely doesn't suit others, and that's completely okay. If you thrive on structure, stability and a clearly-defined remit, this probably isn't the right role for you.

But if you love variety, momentum, building things from scratch, and being part of something growing into something big, you'll thrive here, and we'd love to hear from you.

Why it's a genuinely exciting opportunity

  • You'll shape the marketing voice of a business with a big vision: national growth, a membership alliance, and more on the way, with real ownership from day one.
  • You'll grow as FAB grows. This starts at two days a week, but it's the beginning of a story, not a ceiling and you'll be marketing something you can believe in: helping women lead better, together.

The details

  • Hours: Two days a week, with flexibility on which days.
  • Basis: Open to an employed part-time arrangement or a freelance / fractional one.
  • Rate: £40,000 per year full-time equivalent, paid pro rata for two days.
  • Location: Largely remote, with some in-person time for content creation and events.

To apply

Tell us, briefly, about a piece of content you conceived, built yourself, and can tell us how it performed. Then show us how you actually use AI in your work, what you've changed, and what it lets you produce that you couldn't before. And tell us honestly why a fast-moving, ever-changing environment is where you do your best work. Please send you application to hello@femaleadvisoryboard.co.uk

We can't wait to meet you.
