Marketing Content Writer (9 month FTC)

Opportunity to join a well-established financial services organisation in a content-focused marketing role, creating engaging and impactful content that supports brand awareness, lead generation and business growth.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality content across multiple channels. Working closely with marketing, SEO and design colleagues, the Marketing Content Writer will help strengthen the organisation’s digital presence through compelling, audience-focused content that supports wider commercial objectives.

Location: Brighton - three days in the office, two from home

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a structured content calendar that supports both campaign activity and long-term marketing objectives.
  • Create high-quality content across multiple channels including websites, email, social media, newsletters, case studies and thought leadership.
  • Publish and distribute content to drive engagement, website traffic and lead generation.
  • Conduct research, keyword analysis and performance reviews to maximise content effectiveness.
  • Develop case studies and customer stories that showcase expertise and business impact.
  • Work closely with marketing colleagues to deliver integrated campaigns and maintain consistent messaging.
  • Collaborate with designers to develop engaging marketing assets and campaign materials.
  • Partner with SEO specialists to create and optimise web content that improves search visibility and website performance.
  • Monitor content performance and use insights to inform future content planning.
  • Ensure all content adheres to governance, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a content marketing, digital marketing or communications role.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with experience creating content across multiple digital channels.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing, SEO and inbound marketing principles.
  • Experience developing engaging content that supports lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing and digital content best practice.
  • Experience using CRM and CMS platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Confident stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience within a B2B or financial services environment would be advantageous.
