Brief overview of role for Marketing Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join an established international manufacturer targeting the LifeScience and research sectors. Based at the company's office near Leicester, the role is varied and combines marketing, technical support and service coordination, working closely with customers, Account Managers, Field Service teams, and international colleagues.
- Implement local marketing campaigns across online and offline channels using global and locally developed materials.
- Organize exhibitions and events, including stand bookings, samples, promotional materials, and CRM lead management.
- Work closely with sales teams to understand key markets and customers, conducting market research, and monitoring competitor activity.
- Support new product launches and updates, including product testing, technical documentation, and internal communications.
- Provide technical support to customers and Account Managers, maintaining accurate product knowledge and resolving technical queries with Head Office.
- Manage the GB Service email inbox, allocating laboratory instrument breakdowns and service requests to Field Service Personnel and tracking issues through to resolution.
- Create and maintain user manuals, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, training materials, and other customer support documentation.

Job Requirements for Marketing Coordinator
We are looking for an organized, proactive, and customer-focused individual who is passionate about Marketing and developing your skills. You will be comfortable working across multiple teams - marketing, technical support, and service activities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams in the UK and overseas.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented, and accountable approach to work.
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and empathetic when dealing with customers and challenging situations.
- Flexible approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and business requirements.
- Competent in Microsoft Office.
- A degree in Biological, Biomedical, Business, or Marketing would be desirable, although relevant experience will also be considered.
- A passion for working in a full mix marketing role.
- The role will be full-time in the office based in Leicester.
The Benefits for Marketing Coordinator
- Salary: £27 to £29,000
