Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator will support the planning and delivery of marketing activity across Sofa Club’s brand, retail and commercial channels. With a strong focus on retail marketing, this role will help coordinate activity across our growing store and showroom estate, supporting awareness, footfall, customer engagement and ultimately, sales.

Working closely with the PR + Partnerships Manager and wider Marketing team, the Marketing Coordinator will support campaigns across retail, CRM, events, activations and other customer touchpoints. From coordinating briefs and marketing assets to supporting copywriting and campaign delivery, this is a hands-on role with plenty of variety.

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with Retail, Brand, Creative, Social, PR, Ecommerce and external partners to keep activity organised, on brand and delivered effectively across channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across retail, CRM, digital, social, PR and other customer touchpoints.
  • Coordinate retail and local marketing activity across Sofa Club stores and showrooms, helping drive awareness, footfall, leads and sales.
  • Support new store and showroom openings, coordinating marketing activity, materials, events and activations across relevant channels.
  • Work closely with Retail, Brand and Creative teams to coordinate campaign briefs, creative assets, POS, signage and customer communications.
  • Coordinate brand events, customer experiences, partnerships and local marketing opportunities, including occasional travel to showrooms across the UK to support events, activations and build relationships with local contacts.
  • Keep marketing projects organised and on track, coordinating timelines, stakeholders, suppliers, budgets and deliverables.
  • Support campaign and retail marketing reporting, using results and insights to help inform future activity.
  • Keep up to date with retail, marketing and cultural trends, competitor activity and relevant opportunities for Sofa Club.

  • Previous experience in a marketing role, ideally within a consumer, retail, fashion, interiors, lifestyle or similarly brand-led business.
  • A good understanding of integrated marketing and experience supporting campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience or an interest in retail, local marketing, CRM, events and activations.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills, with a good understanding of brand tone of voice.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Confident working collaboratively with creative teams, internal stakeholders, suppliers and external partners.
  • Comfortable using campaign results and marketing data to understand performance and identify learnings.
  • Proactive, creative and detail-oriented, with a willingness to get stuck into the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity and travel to UK showrooms occasionally when required.
