Role description: Assistant

Age UK North Tyneside is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support the delivery of the Group's marketing strategy across Age UK North Tyneside, Charity Services, Wellbeing Centres and EveryDay Care & Support, increasing awareness, engagement, enquiries and customer acquisition, with a particular focus on growing private paying customers.

The postholder will coordinate marketing campaigns, digital marketing activity, content creation, social media, website content and stakeholder communications. They will work closely with the Group Chief Finance & Operating Officer and the Group's retained marketing agency, JUMP, to deliver effective marketing activity that supports the Group's charitable objectives and commercial growth.

Essential Requirements

  • Worked within a customer facing environment
  • Experience creating content for digital and/or traditional marketing channels.
  • Experience managing social media platforms.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and deadlines.

Desirable Requirements

  • Level 3 Digital Marketing qualification or equivalent.
  • Marketing, Communications or Business qualification.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body.
  • Experience working within a marketing role.
  • Experience working with an external marketing agency.
  • Experience of website content management.
  • Experience of email marketing platforms.
  • Experience of customer acquisition or lead generation campaigns.
  • Experience within the charity, health, social care or not-for-profit sector.

Salary

The Salary range for the role £25,334 - £26,419 per annum
