Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is a hands-on role supporting the delivery of marketing activity across Byotrol's professional and consumer brands. Reporting into the Head of Marketing and working closely with internal colleagues and external agency partners, this role is responsible for coordinating packaging and artwork projects, maintaining our websites and supporting the delivery of our annual programme of exhibitions and events.

This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract for maternity cover, working primarily at the company office near Chester. It requires lots of ideas, strong organisation, a willingness to learn and some creative thinking. In return, we'll provide varied experience across multiple marketing disciplines, a brilliant team of people to work with, and an excellent remuneration package.

Who We Are Looking For:

Our ideal candidate for this role has a strong desire to learn and progress their marketing skills within a B2B and B2C environment, and a proactive approach to making this happen.

  • As our products are technical and highly regulated, it is important that all marketing materials are produced to a high standard and checked for compliance with internal departments, so attention to detail is a must! Knowledge of these regulations is not required, you will be well-supported by our technical and regulatory teams.
  • Our ideal candidate is confident to liaise with (and at times, chase!) internal and external teams, interacting with people from varied backgrounds and cultures and enjoys working in project teams to achieve our goals.
  • As a small department, our tasks are varied and our budget limited, so this role requires someone who is motivated, entrepreneurial, and excited to contribute to the positive change and continuous improvement of the company.

Our values of collaboration, integrity, responsibility, and entrepreneurial spirit guide our recruitment processes, and we will ask you to demonstrate examples of these in your interview. The first interview will be online, and if selected to attend a second interview, this will be in person at our offices near Chester.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
