The Marketing Coordinator – Global Deals & Directories

The Marketing Coordinator – Global Deals & Directories will join the wider marketing function in a global team responsible for collating / archiving the Firm’s work experience, and the coordinating and drafting of key legal directories and global surveys that raise the profiles of key practice groups and partners, and celebrate the work of Baker McKenzie.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the central dedicated global Directories team to coordinate and draft documents that highlight the Firm's work over the past 12 months for both law Firm ranking / recognition purposes.
  • To actively archive and curate the Firm’s work experience for marketing purposes.
  • Build a robust centralised Experience database.
  • Utilise technology to advance the sophistication and efficiency of the deal collection and directories drafting process.
  • Work directly with Partners and colleagues from a wide range of Baker McKenzie offices and practices around the world and across time zones to produce high-quality, consistent directory submissions in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Facilitate submission strategy meetings, participate in training and presentation opportunities.
  • Increase efficiency and apply best practice across all submissions so that the Firm achieves optimal outcomes.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong writing skills, professional curiosity and the confidence to work with people at every level in the Firm.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Awareness of / experience in marketing technology.
  • Highly organised individual with a strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in professional services marketing and in working for a global law Firm.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects against tight timelines effectively.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive attitude, with great self-motivation, team spirit and a passion for dealing with people.
  • Comfortable working across multiple cultures and time zones in a global organization.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
