Job Description
As Marketing Coordinator you will work to raise the profile of Outpost VFX, its work and culture, and support the creation and delivery of internal and external communications. You report to the Global Head of Marketing.
This is an exciting role for someone early in their marketing journey, with some experience, ready to take the next step and contribute to a fast-moving entertainment business. Although specialisms are valuable, the ideal candidate will be a solid generalist comfortable turning their hand to any kind of task across the marcomms spectrum.

Roles and responsibilities
- Be a key part of the content marketing mix across copywriting, design, video, email marketing and more.
- Support the planning and execution of PR and marketing campaigns, including project publicity, brand communications and recruitment campaigns.
- Provide internal comms support to regional and departmental leaders where required, using your excellent writing skills to help them drive the right messaging home.
- Take charge of the Outpost VFX website, regularly uploading content and updating featured imagery and video.
- Help to manage Outpost VFX and associated social media accounts, posting regularly in accordance with the content strategy and contributing ideas for content.
- Support the Marketing Specialist in the production and requisition of behind-the-scenes materials for all Outpost VFX projects, using these to produce project publicity assets such as stills and before / afters.
- Contribute to data gathering and analysis on team, including social media performance, campaign performance and website analytics.
- Prepare materials for industry event appearances and attend as speaker chaperone where required.
Qualifications
Skills and competencies
- 1-2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, PR or similar. M&E experience is a bonus.
- Degree in marketing, PR, communications or associated field is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate core marketing competencies, particularly within content and digital marketing.
- Broad knowledge of key marketing tools required for the role (Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, email marketing platforms, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Experience in producing marketing collateral and campaign assets.
- Basic to intermediate design and video editing skills a major plus.
- Ability to work independently and hit personal deadlines regularly that contribute to team projects.
- A passion for films and series and the desire to learn how they are created will be critical.
