Hours: Full time, Mon - Fri 0900 - 1700hrs
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Salary: £27,000 - £31,000, based on experience-level

About the role
The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will support the delivery of SeaBot Maritime’s sales and marketing activities, helping to promote the business, generate leads and support customer engagement and business growth.
Working closely with the CEO and wider team, the role will support the implementation of the company’s marketing strategy, coordinating day-to-day activity across digital and offline channels, creating engaging content, maintaining sales and marketing processes, supporting customer enquiries and helping organise the company’s presence at industry events.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with at least 1-2 years’ experience in marketing and sales support who is organised, creative and comfortable working on varied tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing & Communications
- Implement the company’s marketing strategy through the coordination and delivery of day-to-day marketing activities and campaigns.
- Create and schedule engaging content across company social media channels.
- Support the development and distribution of email marketing campaigns.
- Update and maintain website content, including training courses, news, and other business information.
- Support SEO and other digital marketing activity to improve the company’s online visibility.
- Create and update marketing materials including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
- Support PR activity, including drafting company news, press releases, and promotional content.
- Help maintain consistent brand messaging across marketing channels and materials.
- Monitor marketing activity and provide regular reporting on performance and engagement.

Sales & Business Development Support
- Support the sales process by responding to and coordinating incoming customer and training enquiries.
- Maintain accurate customer, prospect, and lead information within the company CRM system.
- Assist with sales and marketing campaigns designed to promote SeaBot Maritime’s training and wider services.
- Prepare sales materials, presentations, and supporting information for customer meetings and opportunities.
- Support customer follow-up and general sales administration.
- Assist with the coordination of customer visits, demonstrations, and attendance at industry events.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
- 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing, sales support, communications, or similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating with customers, partners, and colleagues.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines in a varied role.
- Experience creating content for digital channels, including social media, with a creative approach and good attention to detail.
- Experience using design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Basic understanding of SEO and analytics.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of day-to-day tasks and work independently when required.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team.

Desirable
- Experience using CRM and email marketing platforms, e.g., Mailchimp.
- Experience updating and maintaining website content, e.g., using platforms such as Wix.
- Experience supporting exhibitions, conferences, or other business events.
- Previous experience within the maritime, technology, engineering, or training sectors.
