Marketing & Customer Support Manager

Birmingham | Office-Based | Full-Time
£35,000 + Performance Bonus

You must have the right to work in the UK for the next 5 years.

This is an Opportunity

This is an opportunity to take ownership of the marketing function within a growing business, shape the strategy, generate measurable commercial opportunities, and lead a small junior team. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director, identifying where the business should focus its marketing activity, building campaigns that generate qualified leads, and continually improving what works. Alongside marketing, you’ll oversee the customer support function, helping ensure customers receive a responsive, organized, and professional experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing and delivering the annual marketing strategy, activity plan, and budget
  • Generating qualified commercial enquiries through PPC, SEO, email, social media, content, events, partnerships, and targeted campaigns
  • Managing and improving Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, landing pages, and website conversion
  • Identifying new customer segments, lead-generation opportunities, partnerships, and routes to market
  • Reporting on marketing-sourced enquiries, pipeline, conversion, cost per lead, and ROI
  • Reviewing campaign performance and deciding what should be improved, changed, or stopped
  • Managing exhibitions and events from planning and promotion through to lead capture, follow-up, and ROI
  • Overseeing website content, SEO, social media, email campaigns, case studies, and marketing materials
  • Managing the day-to-day customer support function and identifying opportunities to improve customer experience
  • Coordinating client content, graphics, and marketing deployment requirements
  • Leading, training, and developing three junior Marketing/Customer Support team members
  • Presenting new commercial marketing ideas and recommendations directly to senior management

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
