Overview of Team Purpose
Channels & Innovation provides digital platforms and services for business and consumer marketing. We manage web and email platforms to engage audiences and generate revenue. Our experts ensure software development and technology meets business needs, providing high quality user experiences and managing risk with focus on data protection and cyber security. We drive efficiency and promote innovation via collaboration and continuous improvement.

Purpose of Role
To act as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders and specialist digital delivery teams, ensuring work is clearly defined, prioritised and delivered in line with organisational objectives.
The role combines stakeholder management, planning, delivery leadership and resource coordination across design, content, social media, email marketing, acquisition and digital development. It also supports the effective management of external suppliers, procurement and budgets, while providing project delivery expertise across Marketing Services and the wider organisation.
You will be comfortable taking the initiative, bringing structure to ambiguity and creating momentum across teams without relying on a formal reporting line.
Key Tasks
Success in this role will depend on your ability to build productive relationships, influence priorities and bring together diverse stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

- Challenge constructively where value, requirements, timelines or scope are unclear, helping teams reach practical solutions and informed decisions.
- Facilitate discussions between stakeholders and specialist teams to ensure shared understanding, alignment and successful outcomes.
- Act as the primary delivery partner for marketing and digital work, helping stakeholders navigate the delivery process, resolve issues and establish clear, realistic expectations.
Prioritisation & Delivery Leadership
- Coordinate and prioritise work across multidisciplinary teams including design, content, social media, email marketing and web development.
- Lead and facilitate prioritisation discussions with stakeholders and team leaders, negotiating scope, sequencing and timescales to balance organisational objectives, delivery risks and available capacity.
- Identify dependencies, risks and blockers early, driving actions that keep delivery on track.
- Facilitate effective planning and delivery processes, ensuring work is visible, appropriately prioritised and progressing efficiently.
- Maintain a clear view of delivery across the portfolio, providing stakeholders and senior leaders with concise, evidence-based updates on progress, capacity, risks, dependencies and required decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
