Job Summary
Are you an ambitious and creative college/A-Level graduate seeking a career in graphic design and marketing? NIC Services Group are recruiting a Multi-Channel Marketing Level 3 Apprentice to join our small but dynamic sales team based in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in content creation, graphic design and digital marketing within a fast-growing and innovative environment.
You will be reporting to our Creative Manager and working alongside our Bid Team, the successful candidate will play a critical role in creating visually compelling content for bid submissions, proposals and presentations, using a variety of branding catered to each potential client. You will collaborate closely with the wider business to fulfil graphic design requests, everything from health and safety posters to slide decks delivered to globally recognised brands.
The role is hands-on and will involve creating and editing content creation and supporting marketing activity. You will have the opportunity to hone your skills in a vibrant team atmosphere with opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact by securing exciting contracts across various sectors.

Alongside day-to-day practical experience, the successful candidate will complete the Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship programme, gaining industry-recognised qualifications and practical marketing experience.
To put this knowledge into practice, you will work alongside our marketing team around one day a week to gain hands on knowledge producing and managing content across all digital channels, such as creating and delivering social media campaigns, co-ordinating website news stories, optimising content for SEO, internal and external comms and brand management.
No industry experience is necessary - just a passion for design, a positive attitude, and a thirst for knowledge and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, draft and edit high-quality bespoke bid booklets and sales presentation decks, ensuring each is tailored to each client’s unique branding
- Maintain and update a bank of design templates
- Communicate and collaborate with wider business to fulfil design requests
- Work alongside our marketing team to contribute ideas to campaigns and content planning across digital channels
- Prepare files for print and digital use
- Support Digital Marketing Campaigns & Paid Advertising
- Support Google Analytics & Digital Performance Reporting
- Manage & Grow Social Media Activity
- Data Analysis, Research & Marketing Improvement
You will gain

Skills Required
- Recently completed A-Levels or College Diploma in Graphic Design or a related field (essential)
- A creative individual with a knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (not essential)
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint (not essential)
- Based in Leeds and within a reasonably commutable distance to NIC’s office in Armley
- Ability to adapt design style in-line with brand guidelines and client branding
- Strong eye for layout, typography and visual storytelling
- Good attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Creative thinker with a passion for design and eagerness to learn and develop
- Creative portfolio or design work examples (personal or professional) demonstrating the above
- Full UK driving licence (not essential)
