Job Description
Role: Marketing Designer
Day Rate: £300 - £315/day (Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Location: Taunton (Hybrid - flexibility required)
About The Role
The Marketing Designer plays a key role in driving the efficiency and visual impact of marketing operations across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations and Campaigns (HMOC) with a dotted-line matrix relationship to the Head of Brand and Content, you will safeguard and elevate our visual identity (VI) across all market segments, channels, and campaign touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, implement, and maintain the visual identities across all online and offline channels, digital navigation assets, and multi-channel campaign collateral.
- Build accessible frameworks, design templates, and self-serve tools that enable internal teams and agencies to produce compliant work efficiently while maintaining central sign-off governance.
- Brief and oversee external agency partners to ensure deliverables meet tight timelines and budgets. Manage day-to-day marketing operations spend, issue purchase orders (POs), and track expenditure against approved strategies.
- Assist with trademarking and legal aspects of brand protection. Recommend data-backed campaign and visual strategies for new product rollouts to key stakeholders, including Product Management.

Essential Skills And Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Business, or equivalent practical experience (minimum 5 years in a similar role).
- Proven track record in brand management, visual identity implementation, and multi-platform graphic production across digital and print media.
- Hands-on expertise crafting visual assets and collateral for integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experienced in managing agency relationships, balancing vendor performance with budget parameters.
- Hands-on experience with budget tracking, commitment of expenditure, and project cost governance.
