Freelance Marketing Designer
London / Hybrid | 2 Days Per Week | £150–£230 Per Day Depending on Experience
Taste Film creates immersive cinematic dining experiences across the UK, alongside bespoke B2B events for clients including Disney, Prime Video and Universal Studios.
We are looking for a Freelance Marketing Designer to support our creative and marketing teams for two days a week, working closely with our Creative Lead across a wide range of day-to-day marketing activity.
This is a hands-on design role, with a strong focus on Canva, social media, email and digital marketing assets. You will be taking creative direction and existing campaign assets and turning them into polished, engaging and practical content for our marketing channels.
We have an established visual identity, but there is plenty of room to experiment with how the brand comes to life across social, email and digital. We are looking for someone with a good eye for design who can work confidently within an existing brand while bringing their own ideas and creativity to the work.
This role would suit a junior designer, emerging designer or early-career creative who is looking to gain hands-on experience within a fast-moving business across film, food, entertainment and live events.
What You'll Be Doing
- Creating and adapting social media assets for film launches, campaigns and ongoing marketing activity
- Creating and adapting paid social assets across different formats
- Designing email layouts and marketing communications in Canva
- Creating Canva templates that can be easily edited and reused by the wider marketing team
- Adapting existing creative assets into different layouts, sizes and formats

- Supporting the preparation of print-ready assets when required
- Applying the Taste Film brand across different types of marketing activity
- Working with existing film assets and creative guidelines provided by the Creative Lead
- Keeping files, templates and assets organised and easy for the wider team to use

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme

StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You Must Be Able To
- Work independently once given a clear brief and direction
- Manage your time across multiple small projects and deadlines
- Take a brief and use your own judgement to turn it into a finished piece of work
- Ask questions when something is unclear rather than waiting for direction
- Work quickly and confidently on both small tasks and larger campaign rollouts
- Take feedback positively and make changes efficiently
- Communicate clearly and reliably
- Work collaboratively with the Creative Lead and wider marketing team
- Stay organised in a fast-moving environment
- Pay close attention to detail, particularly with dates, copy, layouts and campaign information
What We're Looking For
- Some experience in graphic design, marketing design, social media design or a similar creative role
- A good eye for layout, typography, imagery and visual hierarchy
- Strong working knowledge of Canva
- Experience creating social media and digital marketing assets
- Experience creating or adapting email designs is highly desirable
- An understanding of how to create Canva templates that work well for non-designers to edit
- An understanding of how to work within an existing brand identity
- Good attention to detail
- A proactive and practical approach to design
- Someone who is comfortable working on a mixture of creative and more straightforward marketing tasks
- An interest in film, entertainment, food, culture or live events
You do not need to be an expert in every area of design. We are more interested in your visual judgement, creativity, reliability and ability to take direction and turn it into good work.

Canva Experience Is Important
This is a Canva-first role. While experience with Adobe Creative Suite is welcome, the majority of the work will be created in Canva. This is intentional, as many of the assets need to remain editable and usable by the wider marketing team. We are therefore particularly interested in seeing real examples of work you have created in Canva, rather than only polished portfolio pieces created in Adobe or other professional design software.
Bonus Skills
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience designing email campaigns
- Experience working with print suppliers
- Experience working with entertainment, events, hospitality or consumer brands
- Experience working with licensed brands or film/TV IP

How to Apply
Feel like you don't tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you.
To apply, please submit:
- Your CV with a link to your portfolio
- 2–3 examples of marketing assets you have created in Canva, particularly emails, social media assets, digital campaigns or editable templates
