Marketing & Digital Engagement Intern
Defence & Aerospace Sector | Remote (regular London travel) | Duration flexible, to be agreed
Every defence and aerospace business eventually learns the same lesson: the technology rarely fails first — the ability to communicate it, and the people around it, do. Triarc Group exists to close that gap, and now we're looking for someone at the very start of their career to help us close it in public, one post and one conversation at a time.
About us
Triarc Group is a UK-based advisory and venture-building firm working exclusively across Defence, Security and Resilience. We operate through three pillars — Growth (executive search and leadership placement), Commercialise (strategic consultancy) and Capital (connecting SMEs with investors) — built on nearly 25 years of experience placing leaders into engineering, aerospace, manufacturing and technology businesses. At our core, we believe the biggest constraint on this sector's growth isn't capability or capital — it's finding and placing the right people, at the right moment, in the right roles.
The Ask
This internship is a genuine launchpad, not a filing job. You'll be the person who makes Triarc visible and credible across the platforms our clients and candidates actually use — building a digital presence that positions us as the business people in this sector naturally turn to when they need to find, hire or place senior talent. Twelve months in (or however long you're with us), you'll have built a content engine, grown a real audience, and be able to speak commercially about the defence and aerospace sector — not just marketing about it.

The Challenge
- Own Triarc's day-to-day presence across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms, posting consistently and engaging with our target audience of defence, security and resilience leaders
- Track sector conversations, news and events (conferences, MOD announcements, industry shifts) and turn them into timely, valuable content — with a consistent thread back to talent, leadership and Growth
- Work with Greg and Peter (The founders) to translate their sector expertise and placements into posts, threads and short-form content that build trust and authority
- Monitor engagement and audience growth, and adjust what we post based on what actually lands
- Represent Triarc at relevant online and in-person events, building your own network as you build ours
- Help spot and flag commercial opportunities and warm introductions surfaced through social engagement
What we are looking for from you
Required
- Recent graduate or final-year student, genuinely keen to build a career in defence, aerospace or the wider security sector
- Comfortable writing for LinkedIn and other social platforms — happy to be shown, not necessarily experienced yet
- Curious about the sector and willing to read, research and ask questions to understand it commercially
- Self-starting — this is a small, fast-moving team, so you'll be trusted with real ownership early
- Able to travel to London regularly for meetings, events and client-facing moments

Preferred
- A degree touching engineering, politics, defence studies, business or a related field — though a strong interest matters more than a specific subject
- Some prior exposure to content creation, design tools (e.g. Canva) or basic analytics
- An existing interest in following defence and security commentary online

Note: this is an unpaid internship with reasonable expenses covered. Worth confirming UK National Minimum Wage rules against the final scope and hours before advertising, as genuine expenses-only arrangements are quite narrowly defined.
