Bridgewater Home Care - Marketing & Digital Growth Manager
Bridgewater Home Care is looking for a talented, hands-on and commercially minded Marketing & Digital Growth Manager to help drive the next stage of growth across our franchise business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, creativity and responsibility. It is not a narrow social media role. It is a broad, practical and influential marketing position where you will help shape how a premium home care franchise brand presents itself, supports its franchisees and grows its presence across the UK.
We are an established, values-led home care business with a growing franchise network and ambitious plans for the future. This role would suit someone who wants to work close to the centre of a growing business, directly with the Managing Director, and make a visible impact.
The Managing Director will remain closely involved in overall strategy, but this role is designed to take ownership of day-to-day marketing delivery, bring structure and energy to our marketing activity, and ensure the Bridgewater brand is consistently presented to a high standard.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Franchisee Support, Training and Presentations
A key part of the role will be helping franchise owners and local teams become more confident and effective with their marketing.
This will include:
- Presenting to franchise owners, senior leaders and local teams.
- Delivering marketing updates.
- Sharing best practice.
- Providing practical training on areas such as social media, video content, local marketing, Google Business Profiles, online reviews, email campaigns, directories and brand consistency.
This role is not just about doing marketing centrally. It is about helping the whole network understand what good marketing looks like and supporting franchisees to improve their local marketing performance.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone practical, creative, organised and commercially aware.
You will probably have experience in a broad marketing role where you have had to manage a range of tasks rather than work in one narrow specialism.
The ideal person will have:
- Strong social media management experience.
- Good copywriting and content creation skills.
- Experience writing blogs, website content or marketing copy.
- Confidence creating short-form video content for social media.
- The ability to film, edit and produce simple but professional video content.
- Experience using Canva or similar design tools.
- Experience managing website content and online profiles.
- Experience creating email campaigns using ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp or a similar system.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Confidence working with suppliers, franchisees and senior leaders.
- Confidence presenting, training and explaining marketing in a clear, practical way.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of day-to-day marketing activity.

Experience in franchising, care, healthcare, professional services or a multi-location business would be helpful, but it is not essential.
An interest in AI, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate or marketing automation would also be useful, but this is not a technical automation role. The main requirement is someone who is digitally confident and willing to learn.
The Person
This role would suit someone who is hands-on, proactive, reliable and positive. You will need to be comfortable managing several priorities at once, communicating clearly, and producing high-quality work without constant direction.
We are looking for someone who can bring energy, structure and creativity to the role, while understanding that marketing needs to support real commercial growth.
Success in the Role
Success will include stronger brand consistency, increased website traffic and online engagement, regular high-quality written and video content, better-managed online profiles and directories, more effective email campaigns, improved franchisee marketing support, successful events and reduced day-to-day marketing involvement from the Managing Director.
Why Join Bridgewater?
This is a chance to join a growing premium home care franchise business at an exciting stage.
You will work directly with senior leadership, influence how the brand develops, support a growing franchise network, and see the impact of your work across the business.
