The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded marketing leader to head a specialist Direct division focused on enterprise and technology vendor clients. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who excels at delivering outstanding marketing campaigns while also taking ownership of commercial performance, client relationships and team development. You'll be instrumental in driving growth, improving profitability and building a scalable, high-performing division.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution and delivery of high-quality B2B marketing campaigns across a diverse client portfolio.
- Act as the senior marketing lead for the division, providing strategic direction and hands-on support when required.
- Take ownership of divisional revenue, profitability, budgets and overall commercial performance.
- Build, manage and grow senior client relationships, acting as the escalation point for key accounts.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Account Managers to ensure exceptional client service and campaign delivery.
- Drive account growth, retention and profitability across the division.
- Contribute to new business development activities and support overall business growth objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise resources, delivery capability and operational efficiency.
- Provide regular reporting and performance updates to the senior leadership team.

What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Proven success delivering B2B marketing campaigns within a technology, SaaS or agency environment.
- Strong marketing project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience leading client accounts and building trusted senior stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen, including responsibility for budgets, profitability or P&L performance.
- Previous people management experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to operate confidently at senior leadership level and influence both internal and external stakeholders.

- Experience leading a business unit, department or division.
- Previous responsibility for revenue growth and margin improvement initiatives.
- Background working with enterprise technology clients or direct-to-market vendor programmes.
- Involvement in business development, account expansion or client acquisition activities.
