Marketing Director | London

Marston Holdings Limited is a parent company formed of eight brand entities that each specialise in key areas of our overarching business. In a nutshell, we are the UK's largest judicial services company and pioneers in clean air technology, offering services that support local and central government, utilities, and private sectors through the delivery of market leading integrated technology-enabled solutions from design and implementation to management and recovery.

We're looking for an exceptional Marketing Director to lead our marketing function and drive the next phase of our growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic marketing leader who combines big picture thinking with hands on execution and has the passion to inspire teams, build brands and deliver measurable results.

About The Role

As Marketing Director, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering a marketing strategy that supports our business objectives, strengthens our brand and drives customer engagement and business growth.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll shape the future direction of our marketing activity, ensuring every campaign, initiative and communication aligns with our vision and delivers real commercial value.

This is a highly influential role, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Drive brand awareness, positioning and reputation across multiple channels.
  • Create and oversee integrated marketing campaigns that generate engagement and measurable results.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to support business growth.
  • Use market insights, customer data and performance analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to support commercial objectives.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring maximum return on investment.
  • Oversee digital marketing, content, social media, PR, events and internal communications where appropriate.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to ensure the business remains ahead of the market.
  • Champion innovation, creativity and continuous improvement across the marketing function.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience in a senior marketing leadership role.
  • A strong strategic marketing background with a proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong brand development and campaign management experience.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • A data-driven approach with experience using insights and analytics to optimise performance.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and collaborative leadership style.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
  • A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Desirable

  • Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
  • Professional marketing qualification (CIM or equivalent).
  • Experience within a fast-paced, growth-focused organisation.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM, SEO, paid media and marketing automation.
