Marketing Director
London | Hybrid Working | Executive Leadership Opportunity
Shape the future of one of the UK's most respected B2B media businesses.
We're delighted to be partnering exclusively with an award-winning media, events and research business that sits at the heart of the retail, ecommerce and technology sectors.
Following several years of impressive growth, the business is now investing in its first dedicated Marketing Director. Reporting directly to the CEO, this newly created appointment will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of the company's evolution.
With an established portfolio of highly regarded publications, market-leading events, research products, awards programmes and commercial partnerships, the business already enjoys an enviable reputation. The opportunity now is to build a best-in-class marketing function capable of accelerating audience growth, strengthening brand positioning and supporting ambitious commercial objectives.
The Opportunity
This is far more than a traditional marketing leadership role.
You'll become a key member of the senior leadership team, working alongside the CEO and commercial leadership to define how marketing contributes strategically across every part of the organisation.
You'll have the opportunity to build upon an excellent platform, introducing new ideas, modernising marketing capabilities and creating a function that supports continued expansion across both existing and new revenue streams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
