We are seeking an experienced Offering Director to lead the commercial strategy, operational excellence, and growth of a rapidly expanding digital storefront within the healthcare and life sciences sector.

About the Role

This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who combines strong commercial acumen with experience managing online marketplaces, e-commerce programmes, pricing strategy, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement. You will play a pivotal role in shaping product availability, customer experience, operational governance, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the storefront strategy and roadmap aligned to commercial growth objectives.
  • Develop and implement pricing, promotion, and catalogue strategies that improve revenue and margin performance.
  • Manage onboarding, governance, compliance, and ongoing performance of product offerings.
  • Optimise product listings, descriptions, taxonomy, and discoverability across the platform.
  • Establish KPIs, reporting frameworks, and operational metrics to measure success.
  • Analyse performance data and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, process optimisation, and governance frameworks.
  • Coordinate launches, campaigns, and promotional activities with marketing teams.
  • Manage incident reviews, service issues, and corrective action planning to maintain service quality.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across commercial, marketing, development, and operations functions.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Required Skills

  • Experience leading an online store, digital marketplace, or e-commerce programme for healthcare, pharmaceutical or life sciences environments.
  • Strong commercial understanding of pricing, promotions, margin management, and revenue growth.
  • Experience managing product catalogues, listings, and taxonomy governance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated project and programme management experience.
  • Experience working effectively within a matrix organisation.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of digital platform operations, customer experience optimisation, and commercial governance frameworks.
  • Previously worked in a CRO or closely aligned business.

Pay range and compensation package

  • Location: UK (Home-based)
  • Contract: Full-time | Contract-to-Hire
  • IR35: Inside IR35
