We are searching for an accomplished Marketing Director to lead the global marketing strategy for a major international exhibition and conference portfolio.
This is a high-profile leadership role with responsibility for brand positioning, audience acquisition, delegate marketing, digital performance, communications and commercial growth. You will also lead and develop an established multidisciplinary marketing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the global marketing strategy
- Drive visitor acquisition, delegate revenue and audience growth
- Strengthen international brand positioning and market reach
- Lead integrated digital, content, communications and partnership campaigns
- Support exhibitor, sponsorship and wider commercial objectives
- Manage a substantial marketing budget and international agencies
- Use data and insight to improve campaign performance and ROI
- Work closely with senior leadership, government bodies and international stakeholders
- Oversee marketing delivery throughout the live event cycle

About you:
You will already be operating as a Marketing Director, Portfolio Marketing Director, Group Marketing Director or highly experienced Head of Marketing within the exhibitions, conferences or large-scale business-events industry.
You must have:
- Led marketing for a major international exhibition or conference
- Delivered ambitious visitor, delegate and commercial targets
- Managed complex, multi-market campaigns and significant budgets
- Strong expertise in audience acquisition, CRM, digital marketing and automation
- Experience marketing paid conferences and supporting sponsorship and exhibitor revenue
- A proven record of leading and developing a sizeable marketing team
- The commercial judgement, resilience and presence to operate effectively at senior level

This is not a first-time senior marketing appointment. We are seeking a proven exhibition and conference marketing leader who can set the strategy, lead from the front and deliver in a demanding international environment.
Candidates must be able to work full-time from the London office and travel internationally when required.
