About the opportunity
Via is partnering with a leading global workplace culture and employee experience organisation to recruit a Marketing Director to lead its UK marketing strategy.
The organisation helps businesses understand and improve their workplace culture through employee feedback, research, benchmarking, and insights. It also runs highly recognised workplace accreditation and employer recognition programmes used by organisations around the world.
This is a senior, commercially focused marketing leadership role with responsibility across brand, demand generation, content, digital, events, and customer acquisition.
You'll shape how the organisation reaches HR leaders, People Directors, CHROs, and senior business decision-makers across the UK, turning proprietary research, workplace data, and employee insights into campaigns that build the brand and generate commercial growth.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You'll set the marketing direction, lead the team and budget, partner closely with Sales and senior leadership, and ensure marketing contributes directly to pipeline and revenue.
What you'll be doing
- Own and deliver the UK marketing strategy
- Lead marketing across brand, demand generation, content, digital, social, email, events, and partnerships
- Build integrated campaigns that generate qualified B2B pipeline
- Strengthen the organisation's position as a leading authority on workplace culture and employee experience
- Develop campaigns targeting HR Directors, People leaders, CHROs, and senior executives
- Turn proprietary workplace data, research, and insights into high-impact marketing campaigns
- Build thought-leadership programmes around workplace culture, leadership, employee experience, and the future of work
- Lead content strategy across reports, research, articles, webinars, social media, and email
- Maximise the commercial impact of major research launches, awards, accreditation programmes, and events
- Develop account-based and targeted campaigns for priority organisations and sectors
- Own digital acquisition across paid and organic channels
- Improve website conversion and lead-generation journeys
- Develop lead nurturing and lifecycle marketing programmes
- Partner closely with Sales on pipeline generation, lead quality, and conversion
- Establish clear attribution between marketing activity, pipeline, and revenue
- Use CRM and marketing data to understand performance and optimise investment
- Own marketing KPIs, forecasting, and reporting
- Manage the UK marketing budget and agency relationships
- Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team
- Collaborate with international marketing colleagues on wider campaigns
- Protect and develop the brand within the UK market
- Identify partnerships, media opportunities, and new channels that can extend the organisation's reach

What we're looking for
You'll ideally have:
- Significant senior-level B2B marketing experience
- Previous experience as a Marketing Director, Head of Marketing, or senior marketing leader
- Experience developing and executing a complete marketing strategy
- A strong track record of generating B2B leads, pipeline, and revenue
- Experience marketing to senior business decision-makers
- Strong demand generation and digital marketing experience
- Experience building integrated campaigns across multiple channels
- Strong understanding of CRM, marketing automation, and funnel management
- Experience using data to measure marketing effectiveness and make investment decisions
- Strong content and thought-leadership experience
- Experience turning complex research or data into compelling commercial campaigns
- Strong brand and positioning skills
- Experience leading and developing marketing teams
- Budget and agency management experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Confidence partnering with senior leadership and Sales
- A commercial mindset and clear understanding of marketing's role in revenue growth

Experience marketing to HR, People, Talent, or C-suite audiences would also be valuable.
