Marketing Director

Base £150k-£160k + up to 20% bonus + car allowance + LTIP

London or Northamptonshire | Hybrid working

This is a newly created senior leadership opportunity with a purpose-led, people-focused organisation entering an important phase of UK growth. With significant executive sponsorship and an established national footprint, our client is investing in brand, communications and creative as genuine commercial growth drivers. You’ll inherit an experienced multidisciplinary team while having the freedom to shape how the function operates, raise creative standards and build a more distinctive market position across both consumer and B2B audiences.

This person will define the brand, creative and communications agenda, strengthening reputation, sharpening proposition and creating a joined-up operating model that supports ambitious commercial growth.

Role Highlights

  • Lead an established team, including four senior direct reports.
  • Set a distinctive brand and creative direction across B2C and B2B audiences.
  • Own corporate communications, PR and reputation strategy at UK level.
  • Strengthen the organisation’s B2B proposition and support commercial differentiation.
  • Use customer insight and performance data to drive measurable marketing impact.

You Will Need

  • Significant leadership experience across brand, creative and/or corporate communications.
  • Experience across both B2B & B2C in a complex commercial organisation.
  • Multi-site bricks and mortar experience.
  • Evidence of repositioning or elevating an established brand in competitive markets.
  • Strong creative judgement combined with commercial and strategic thinking.
  • Senior-level experience managing reputation, PR and complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Confidence building new structures and influencing executives without relying on direct authority.
