About This Team

The vision of the Brand Management and Partnerships team is to build an iconic global brand with local relevance across EMEA and global franchise markets. We are the guardians of the lululemon brand, ensuring we show up in the right way across all channels, markets, and partnerships. We fuel business success by connecting consumers to our purpose, personality and beliefs through every activation. We make the performance and feel of our products famous, and drive awareness, familiarity and desire for lululemon across our regions.

Core Responsibilities

The Marketing Director, Global Franchise is responsible for collaborating with global franchise partners to design and execute strategies and plans that grow awareness and acquire new guests to deliver business targets. They own franchise marketing leader relationships and oversee the day-to-day running of global franchise marketing, enabling partners with cross-channel brand knowledge and best practice tools. They act as the conduit between franchise partners and lululemon, optimising communication and processes to ensure partners are enabled to build and execute their marketing plans. They have outstanding relationship skills and can coach, influence, negotiate and inspire across multiple markets and cultures.

  • Forge strong relationships with franchise leaders across multiple functions
  • Collaborate with franchise partners to develop and execute marketing strategies that are globally consistent but regionally relevant to achieve partners’ brand and business goals
  • Drive the franchise go-to-market process, partnering with regional lululemon teams across Brand, Product and channels, to align with parallel franchise functions to successfully bring products to market
  • Own product x brand calendars for each franchise partner that align with global and regional lululemon calendars whilst ensuring relevance to the local guest
  • Collaborate with partners to develop and deliver end-to-end franchise marketing campaigns including new store openings and new market entries, incorporating insights, KPIs, creative support, cross-channel and global alignment, implementation and review
  • Design and execute processes that enable efficient information sharing between internal teams and franchise partners including delivering on-boarding programmes and executing market visits
  • Manage reporting requirements on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, including post-campaign reporting and analysis
  • Support the lululemon and franchise Creative and RBE teams to ensure that partner execution is on brand and delivering business results
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Franchise Marketing team within an inclusive growth culture
  • Manage the functional annual budget process (AOP) and workforce planning

Qualifications

  • 12-15+ years as a senior integrated marketeer working with franchise partners across multiple markets, ideally for a premium, purpose-led, global business. Apparel preferred
  • Proven expertise in navigating international business to business relationships
  • Geopolitical awareness including experience across multiple geographies with the Middle East, Israel, India, and South America an advantage
  • Experience managing and developing a team
  • Outstanding communication skills

The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
