About Us

We are the clear market leader in our sector and one of the fastest-growing car buying companies in the world. In the UK we generate over 100,000 customer enquiries each month and book in tens of thousands of vehicles over the same period through our high-traffic websites and nationwide operations. We have now launched across the United States, with multiple states already live and an ambitious plan to expand nationwide.

Our rapid expansion and success have been driven by outstanding people, a strong culture, and our ability to lean into the advantages of cutting-edge technology. We are not a speculative startup. We have been established for over 15 years, are highly profitable, and have achieved this scale without external funding. That gives us both security and momentum – and yet, despite our size, we have kept the energy, excitement and ambition of a startup.

We are scaling rapidly in the US market, and the opportunity ahead is enormous. Our aim is to build one of the largest and most respected international automotive buying groups over the next five years. As part of that growth, there will also be opportunities to contribute to our expanding US collector network and support the rollout of our systems across new states.

We offer strong base salary and bonus potential, but the real game changer lies in the long-term opportunity. With the pace of our growth in both the UK and the US, we are exploring ways to provide equity-style participation for individuals who make an exceptional impact in driving our success. Those who help us achieve our most ambitious goals will share directly in the value they create. This can result in genuinely life-changing benefits as the company continues its growth journey.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For

This is a commercially focused leadership role for someone who has already built and scaled high-volume consumer lead generation businesses.

We're not looking for a traditional brand marketer. We're looking for someone who understands how to acquire customers at scale, optimise conversion, lead high-performing teams and deliver measurable commercial growth.

Key Requirements

  • At least seven years' experience leading performance marketing within a high-volume B2C lead generation business such as a marketplace, comparison site, car buying service, classifieds platform, travel aggregator or similar consumer acquisition business.
  • Proven experience as the senior marketing leader accountable for overall marketing performance, not simply responsible for one specialist channel.
  • Experience managing businesses generating tens of thousands of consumer enquiries each month, with accountability for increasing both lead volume and lead-to-sale conversion.
  • A proven track record of improving conversion rates through optimisation of customer journeys, PPC, SEO, CRO, CRM, attribution, landing page testing and marketing automation.
  • Demonstrable success scaling acquisition while maintaining or improving ROI, CPA, CPL and customer lifetime value.
  • Experience leading specialist teams across PPC, SEO, Content, CRM, Affiliates, UX, Analytics and Performance Marketing.
  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to balance short-term lead generation with long-term profitable growth.
  • Excellent understanding of digital acquisition channels including Paid Search, Organic Search, AI-driven search, affiliate marketing and conversion optimisation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use customer insight, experimentation and performance data to make commercial decisions.
  • Experience working closely with Product, Technology, Sales and Operations to improve customer acquisition and conversion.
  • A collaborative leadership style with experience building, coaching and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Experience of expanding marketing activity into new territories or international markets would be advantageous. Experience in the US market is beneficial but not essential.

  • Strengthen collaboration between Marketing, Sales, Product and Operations.
  • Build a high-performing marketing function capable of supporting significant UK and US growth.
  • Develop a scalable acquisition strategy capable of supporting the company's long-term growth ambitions.

What we offer

  • Highly Competitive Base Salary: Up to £160k (depending on experience, reflecting the senior, high-impact nature of this international role).
  • Significant Performance Bonus: A substantial bonus scheme tied directly to our core performance metrics (ROI, UK & US growth), ensuring you are rewarded directly for measurable success.
