Marketing Director

£120,000–£140,000 + up to 20% bonus | UK

We are supporting a successful, growing multi-site consumer business with the appointment of a Marketing Director to lead its next phase of customer and commercial growth.

This is a senior, highly visible role with responsibility for customer acquisition, frequency, loyalty, CRM, digital, customer experience, and sales-driving campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape the marketing and customer strategy, using insight, data, and disciplined execution to deliver measurable growth.
  • Work closely with commercial, trading, product, operations, finance, and technology teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales or revenue outside of peak seasons or occasions.
  • Turn customer insight into action and connect marketing investment directly to sales and customer value.

What We Want:

  • Senior marketing experience within a brand-led, consumer business, ideally across multi-site hospitality, retail, leisure, or another high-frequency environment.

You Will Bring:

  • A strong track record of growing sales, frequency, loyalty, and/or customer value through marketing.
  • Significant experience across CRM, loyalty, digital, and customer communications.
  • A data-led approach to campaign development, testing, and measurement.
  • An understanding of customer behavior and what drives acquisition and repeat purchase.
  • Practical appreciation of operating in a distributed, customer-facing business.
  • Experience managing teams, agencies, and external partners but not relying on them!
  • Strong commercial and numerical judgement, with the ability to link marketing activity to return.
  • The confidence to work across finance, trading, operations, product, and technology.

Personality Matters:

  • Commercially sharp, customer-led, low ego, and hands-on.
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and getting close to the business to understand revenue-drivers, customer experience, and marking impact possible.
  • Simplifies rather than complicates, and makes marketing practical and executable for customer-facing teams.
