Marketing Director - Fractional
3 days a week. £70–80k.
Real ownership.
Are you looking for a role where you can make a serious impact without signing your life away to a five-day week?
Our client is a leading grab and go brand entering its next phase of growth and they are looking for a Marketing Director to lead the marketing agenda three days a week.
This is not a “keep the channels ticking over” role. It’s a genuine senior mandate to build the marketing engine behind a fast-growing, franchise-led consumer brand.
What you will be walking into:
The foundations are already there.
- There is an existing marketing team, agency, CRM, email/SMS, loyalty, social, content, and website capability.
- There is also a new customer app being built.
- What is missing is someone senior enough to pull it all together.
You will set the strategy, decide what matters, lead the team, challenge the agency, and connect marketing activity to actual commercial growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The big opportunities
CRM & Loyalty
- Turn customer data into more frequency, retention, and lifetime value.
- Build a smarter lifecycle strategy rather than simply sending more emails.
App Growth
- The app is being built now. You will help turn it into a genuine customer-growth engine, from launch and acquisition through to activation, loyalty, and repeat usage.
Franchise Marketing
- The business is scaling through franchise partners. You will create a marketing model that franchisees can actually use, from local acquisition and openings through to ongoing growth.
Brand & Growth
- Build the 12-18 month strategy across brand, digital, local marketing, customer acquisition, and retention.
International
- Germany is next. You will help work out what travels, what needs adapting, and what a scalable international marketing model looks like.

More importantly, you know how to turn strategy into commercial outcomes.
You can walk into a founder-led business, make sense of a moving target, work out what needs fixing, and get people moving in the same direction.
You are strategic.
You are commercial.
You are hands-on when it matters.
And you don't need a 20-person marketing department to get things done.
Why this role?
Because three days can still mean real ownership.
You will have direct access to the Founder, a genuine seat at the table, and the chance to shape the marketing function as the business scales.
If CRM, app growth, franchise marketing, and strategy are your world, we should talk.
